Cheap Vostro Laptop
I've been itching to buy laptop for some time now, but unexpected situations are forcing me to postpone. It never stopped me from searching the net for the best bargain though. Here's my latest find, a cheap Dell Vostro laptop costing only 474.00 USD excluding tax and delivery. Check out the specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo T5270 (1.4GHz)
14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 2 DIMM
CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive
Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
80GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Wi-Fi Internal Card
Integrated High Definition Audio
Windows XP Home Edition
With Windows XP as OS, 1 GB of memory already rocks. Plus I selected 80 GB hdd as I don't have any plans of saving data into the laptop, instead I'll use Flash disks. This comes with free Microsoft Office Live Small Business. Oh, I wish I have that budget now.

Diino
If you have files you need to be highly accessible anytime anywhere, you need a file sharing service. Diino offers free file sharing with high security and much more.
Diino offers online backup with security enforced at most levels of access. As with other file sharing service you can share with family, friends and colleagues specific file, folder of files, photo album or music catalogue by giving them a username and password. Accessed files are transmitted through a secure tunnel with 2048 bit encryption. Backups is made automatically. Just choose the folders and files you want to back up and set your backup schedule and Diino will take care of the rest.
Neat service isn't it?

WVSU Medical Center
My brother who had stroke got out of the hospital last week Thursday. He has recovered, with his limbs fully functioning. He can walk, eat and pee by himself. His recovery I attribute to the highly qualified doctors and staff of the WVSU Medical Center.
To all of you, Thank You!!!

A Way to Increase your RSS Readers
One way to increase your RSS readers is to join BlogRush. If you're not in the know, read my post regarding BlogRush here.
BlogRush just doesn't increase your site traffic, but can also raise your number of RSS readers. How's that? One of the requirements when you join BlogRush is you must have a RSS Feed. Your RSS Feed allows your posts to appear in the BlogRush widget that appears on other users' blogs. So, in a way BlogRush becomes a subscriber to your RSS Feeds.
It may increase your RSS Feed readers, albeit not dramatically. Previously I have an average of 6 readers, but after I reactivated my BlogRush widget, the number is now 16. I'm happy with that, considering that I now have 3 email subscribers.

Primitive and Intelligent Life
Stephen Hawking, is a prominent theoretical physicist, known for his contributions to the fields of cosmology and quantum gravity, especially black holes. In an interview he was asked about the existence of extraterrestrial life, he answered:
"Primitive life is very common and intelligent life is fairly rare.", he then quickly added, "Some would say it has yet to occur on earth."
I definitely agree :+)
