Floyd Mayweather No. 1 Boxer?

I've recently watch Floyd Mayweather trounced great Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez. To tell you frankly I'm impressed with Floyd's performance. He's too quick and fast for Marquez. But that's all about it. What irks me is the resulting lists from some sports writer immediately restoring Mayweather as the no. 1 boxer in the world. What?

There's no way Mayweather could outrank Manny Pacquiao based on his fight. Manny fought bigger guys and beat them convincingly. Floyd was fighting a smaller guy and couldn't even knockout him out. And the very thing that matters here is Floyd Mayweather for all his greatness cheated on the scales. The fight for all I know is at a catch weight of 144 lbs. Juan Manuel a former lightweight, came in at 142 lbs, while Floyd a naturally bigger guy came in at 146 lbs. Four pounds advantage a day before a fight is a very very big advantage. By fight night Floyd refused to be weighted.

Floyd Mayweather, a welterweight had chosen a lightweight for his comeback fight and still dared to cheat on the scales. Now do you consider that a trait of a pound for pound best boxer in the world? A cheater for the no. 1 spot? Tsk, tsk!

BSquare Snack House Update

I went to Bacolod last August 30 to meet Dora my business partner in BSquare Snack House. We checked out the sales performance for the last 3 months and we are very satisfied. June performance wasn't accounted for as the record keeping wasn't that good. Shared with Dora an easier accounting process and for the month of June we were break even. For August we made a little profit, yeah little but profit anyway and that's what made us happy.

I am grateful to Carl, who is our only staff performing as cook, cleaner, cashier and manager and Dora for the good performance. Carl is a very talented all around person. Dora is very creative, resourceful and has very excellent people skills, bringing lots of customers. I'm happy that we were able to trace problems and made necessary adjustments quickly.

One more observation is, our customer base is expanding. In the first 2 months of operation students make up the bulk of our customers, but lately residents in nearby areas stop by for snacks and drinks. With this trend, we are very optimistic our investment will pay off.

Blog Traffic Update

I've been very busy these past months, I didn't have time to be active on Entry Card and as can be predicted, my blog traffic went down. Here's the graph to show it.

Very embarassing, but now I'm on track, its very evident with the upward trend. I login on EntreCard if time permits and start dropping and advertising. I also increased the number of post per month to 8 articles. The objective it to break to previous high of 2,795 page visits. One thing I'm very happy about is, the traffic is mostly coming from search engines. In fact, roughly 60% comes from Google and Yahoo. This means my blog is becoming more visible to visitors worldwide. Hmm, very promising. I think I can really be independent of traffic generators in the long run.
