Content Writer Wanted

In my previous post, I have indicated that I'm hired as a "ghost writer" and to tell you the truth it's a very lucrative job, but lately with more and more opportunities occupying my time, I find it very difficult to meet the required number of posts.

Hence today I'm writing this, to inform anyone who is interested to write ORIGINAL articles on a wide range of topics which contains at least 1 of these keywords: certificates of deposit rates(CD rates), saving accounts, checking accounts, credit cards, mortgages, auto loans, insurance and personal finance. No text links required. There is no maximum limit on the number of article submission but should be at least 5 articles per week. I'll be paying $2.00 USD per article through PayPal. Applicants should have a blog site as I will use it to determine whether applicant is qualified or not.

To apply, send me an email through this link. The subject of your email should be "Content Writer Application" and in your message specify your blog site. I promise I will respond to each and every application I receive. Hurry, apply now.

From Davao to Iloilo

Wheew, it's a hectic week for me, finishing up whatever company tasks I have to for the duration of my stay in Davao. I also conducted a presentation to the senior members of our company on the different application tools available to them so they can work more efficiently. I gave my friend Andrea another visit, this time in her home in Dumoy, Toril last Friday. She gave me two packs of shrimp, one for her family in Miag-ao and the other for me. Previous to that I went to Adevinco Mall where I purchased most of my gifts for my friends in Iloilo. My gifts consists of malongs, shirts, handkerchiefs, cellphone pouches, trinkets, kid's clothings and ube and durian candies.

I went back to Iloilo in the wee hours of Saturday. Immediately I wasted no time and attended to the various problems in our computer shop. The next day, I went to Bacolod to follow up on my business with Dora. She showed me the place and we planned out what to do with it. It will require minor renovation and paint job. Then we went around Lopue's looking for furniture and electricals. The end result, we have an inventory of items worth more than 16,000. That includes 3 sets of dining table, 3 bar stools, 3 bulbs, a counter table, a rack, a sofa bed and a ceiling fan.

We met Jay, who is the distributor of the food product which we will be selling and finalize the deal. We also met with the engineer who will be providing us a quote for the renovation. As it seems if everything goes fine we can open shop by the end of this month. God willing.

My Davao Stay

I plan to do a lot while I'm here in Davao and could have written this article with a title of "My Davao Adventures", but my first week didn't come out as planned. For one I intend to visit Jack's Ridge which my friends say could provide a good mountain top view of the city and hop around Samal Island which is equivalent to Guimaras Island of Iloilo.

First, I really have to see my friend Andrea, she's one of my close friends in college and its been more than 10 years since we've last meet. So after my shift at 6:00 AM last Saturday I took a quick nap and proceeded to Pequeno. I'm really in luck as it's their fiesta and I'm happy to have met her husband, mother in law, children named Ryan and Jesseryl and friends. I ended up spending the whole day with her starting at 11:00 AM up to 5:00 PM with non-stop update and sharing of information. I really felt good to have met her again.

Secondly, I'm a boxing fan and last Sunday is Pacquiao vs Hatton fight. My house mate and I spent the whole day watching it and marveling at the power and agility of the "Pacman". Pacquiao beat the Englishman in just 2 rounds via a brutal knock out. We were discussing about it until 11:00 PM at Bak Bak's over ice cold Red Horse beer, sizzling pork and tuna kinilaw which the place is well known for.

So this is how my planned "adventure" turned out to be. But hey I have no regrets, I'm very happy with all that transpired.

Aside from these, on my first week I visited Victoria Plaza, SM, NCCC malls and Gaisano Mall which locals fondly call the "G" mall. I walked through the length of Uyangueren street which is dubbed the "china town" of Davao. One could find good bargains here. I'm looking for malong and shawl which I plan to bring home as gifts. I don't know if this is a good price or not, but the lowest I got for malong is 80 PHP per piece. I'll be needing an extra baggage for all of these things.

I'm going back to Iloilo in the early hours of May 9. So far I'm satisfied with my stay here, I've never been more relax in my work and I attribute it to the relaxing ambiance of the place.
