Where in the world can you get land for free? Where else but in Austria. There's one village with a population of only 1,760 people. Leaders of Rappottenstein village will give land of 800 and 900 square metres to both singles and married couples who pledge to have at least one child in the next 10 years.
What? Yup the land is actually an incentive to boost the local population. Of course it has its conditions such as you have to build a house on the plot in three years time otherwise you have to pay 12,000 euros.
Fair for me. Now, how to get to Austria?
